IMPACT JUNKIE will be partnering with “If You Really Knew Me” on an international venture trip to Kenya on July 1-July 10 with high school students and chaperones recruited through If You Really Knew Me Program and their team led by Nathaniel Rios. The overall goal of IMPACTJUNKIE is to empower individuals to move towards sustainability through means of starting an impact venture and bring impact to your venture where they find most success and facilitating relationships/partnerships with the resources needed to do so and above all, do no harm.
You have a big idea + big heart to want to impact the world around you. Where do you start? How can you make an impact? But, do you want to do what has always been done before? Do you actually want to see poverty end? Do you want to start a business/initiative that makes sustainable impact? Are you a young/future entrepreneur looking for the next big thing? Learn how to launch *life-changing* ventures with the local villages in Kenya, be a part of lasting impact in the high schools through If You Really Knew Me anti-bullying campaigns, meet with government and local leaders (principals, Department of Education, and more!), adventure on an African Safari and experience entrepreneurship hands-on training with IMPACTJUNKIE to start your own venture. Q – WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR AN EPIC TRIP?
A – Trips are open to all applicants 18 years and older. Some trips will be open to 16 years to 18 years old and will be announced on a trip by trip basis.
Q – WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP AFTER MY APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED?
A – Once application is submitted, our Trips Team will be in contact with you within 24-48 hours.
Q – HOW WILL I BE CONTACTED ABOUT MY APPLICATION?
A – We will communicate mostly through email, so make sure you provide an email address that you check daily.
Q – DO I NEED SHOTS OR SPECIAL MEDICATION?
A – Go to www.cdc.gov and search for your host destination area in the “Travelers’ Health” section. You will be able to read what is suggested and/or required. Print off this list and take it to your doctor at least 1 month prior to your trip to discuss options.
Q – DO YOU ACCEPT LATE APPLICATIONS OR CAN YOU ADD ME TO A WAITLIST?
A – This will be on a trip by trip case. Waitlist spots are given to those who applied before the deadline.

Travel to and from departure city, Medical trip insurance, Additional meals
