Philip is a social entrepreneur who has launched startups from Congress and the Pentagon to thatched-roof huts in Belize, homes in Nepal, and refugee camps in Athens. He has connected thousands to launch impact-driven businesses in the US and around the world - bringing sustainable solutions through entrepreneurship. The first in his family to graduate from college, he completed his undergrad and graduate studies at Harvard. He was the first distance student ever elected a student president at Harvard, was later elected university-wide student president, and gave the 2014 commencement speech in Harvard Yard to "go serve the world with passion.” He was previously an innovation advisor at the Pentagon and White House, and was co-founder of The Great Pitch, which invested over $16 million for innovative ideas, now 10X, US government’s internal “Venture Capital” arm. While serving as the university-wide student body president at Harvard University, he played a key role in the Harvard Innovation Lab. He currently trains aspiring entrepreneurs while traveling the world to foster startup initiatives.
